There is a quote that I often think of as I find the years zipping by at lightspeed: “The days are long, but the years are short.”
As we close out 2022, I can’t help but think of this days vs years motto in reference to TAA PR. The end of this year marks my 20th year in business. What started as me flying solo with my first fashion client is now a full-fledged agency with a dedicated team and growing. At times it feels like it all happened in the blink of an eye, and at the same time a century. So, as we come to the end of another successful year–one that has seen us finally feeling like we’re regaining a sense of normalcy after nearly three years of pandemic chaos–I’ll be devoting time to slowing down and soaking in everything that TAA PR has accomplished not only this year, but over the last twenty. I hope you’ll do the same–reflecting on whatever life journey you’re on, both professional and personal.
But before we take that deep, end-of-year-breath, there’s still plenty of holiday merriment to be had. Our In Town roundup has it all for you, including more on our stunning cover. The holiday tree is at Riggs with design by celebrated jewelry designer Alexis Bittar. It’s a must-see! Also in this issue, you’ll find our second annual gift guide from resident cool girl Mosha Lundstrom Halbert. We chat with Albert Kriemler of Akris as his family brand hits the 100 year mark (another milestone that I’m sure also went by in the blink of an eye), and offer up all the best holiday parties and attractions to put on your calendar over the next few weeks. While real football/soccer fans go wild over the Fifa World Cup in Qatar, we’ll tell you about our advance trip to Doha with Naomi Campbell for the launch of Emerge at Qatar Creates.
